How FINI’Z Started
Dani and Béla are long-time friends, and the idea was born during a summer vacation in Croatia in 2023. Dani worked as a chef in several prestigious Hungarian restaurants, spent a year working in 4- and 5-star hotels in Austria, and prior to FINI’Z, was the founder and co-owner of an award-winning restaurant in Buda. He was the one who brought up the idea.
During the renovation, the flat top grill was the very first piece of equipment we bought. We tested recipes right up until opening day: inviting friends and industry peers for tastings and fine-tuning the burgers until we were completely satisfied. We prepare our burgers Oklahoma-style, meaning the sliced white onions are smashed directly into the beef patty.

What We Are Most Proud of So Far
Our first location opened on July 1, 2024, on Ráday Street, and our second on March 1, 2026, in Újbuda. We’ve been featured by We Love Budapest and Street Kitchen, hosted the preliminary round of a national burger-eating contest, and partner with local student job cooperatives. We’ve been offering delivery since autumn 2024; on our first birthday, we gave away 300 free burgers, and for the grand opening of our second location, we handed out 200 burgers on the house.

Our Goal: Bringing FINI’Z Burgers to as Many People as Possible
In the short term, we plan to open additional company-owned locations, and in the long term, we are looking toward franchising: first within Hungary, and then abroad.
